Young ones on road to right royal success

THE Prince's Trust also worked its magic for another young entrepreneur, Claire Ashford, who runs Keep IT Clean. Claire, 27, from Old Catton, has just completed her final year under the guidance of the PYBT and is now building herself a thriving business ensuring IT equipment is kept clean in offices and receptions throughout Norfolk and Suffolk.

She said: "I saw no end of computers and telephones which were filthy - bad news for customers and depressing for staff - and saw a gap in the market that no one else was covering. Once I had the idea, it was only the Prince's Trust which was prepared to invest in my business. Now I have repaid that investment and proved that the business is viable - and I plan to continue growing further." Keep IT Clean has brought the benefits of sparkling computers, printers and telephones to a host of businesses around the county and further afield.

Claire puts her success down to a professional and enthusiastic approach and it has won her contracts from firms of all types and sizes. And, of course, the support of the PYBT.

"Without the Prince's Trust I hate to think what I would be doing now three years down the line. The support has been invaluable. My business, like those of many other trust entrepreneurs, just would not have got off the ground. Instead, it is thriving with lots more potential."
